DexterFit is the personal training arm of UPLFT Fitness and the original service offered by Master Trainer - Michael Poindexter. From live and in-person training to creating individualized training programs for clients who don't require instruction or coaching, we offer several plans and packages to fit most any schedule and budget.
DexterFit clients are considered members of UPLFT Fitness and are entitled to all of the benefits and privileges of UPLFT membership. A key benefit is the ability to take any UPLFT Standard group fitness class at no additional cost. For just $5 more per month, members may also enroll in UPLFT+ for even more group fitness options.

Personal Training Program Descriptions & pricing

Live One-on-One Training in Studio
The traditional personal training model with regularly scheduled
in-person training sessions. Suitable for anyone. Provides an
individualized program tailored to your goals/objectives.
Single Ten Sessions
$40 - per hour $375
$30 – 45 minutes $275
$25 – 30 minutes $225
*Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance and the session can be
rescheduled. Otherwise the session must be paid for and cannot be rescheduled.
Hybrid
A cost-conscious alternative to live one-on-one training that offers flexibility, convenience, accountability, an individualized program, regular in-person sessions, and the most value! Ideal for busy people who are self-motivated, but still desire some degree of live training. Hybrid Training requires use of the FitSW APP.
Set up fees [One time]: $25 to design and build the program in the FitSW training app.
Monthly App fee: $5
Monthly Hybrid Coaching fee: $40
Progressions: $15*
*Progressions are significant changes to a program as agreed upon based on client goals. These types of changes typically only occur a few times a year. Minor changes can be made at anytime and are not subject to progression fees.
2x30 minute live sessions per week are available or any two fitness classes can be substituted. Additional live sessions can be purchased at the current 30-minute single rate - $25. The external sessions (training split) can be as many as required by your training program, goals, and available time. The price will not change regardless of how many days are included in your individualized program.
Online Coaching
This type of training is ideal for the person who has limited time, requires flexibility, is already a member at another fitness facility yet still wants access to consultations, coaching, and. Requires use of the FitSW APP.
First month $45, $20 per month after.
$15 fee for progressions – as determined by fitness plan. See “progression” description above.

Individualized Fitness Program Only
This is ideal for the person who only needs a program to follow and does not require additional coaching or consultations.
Cost: $25 per program and progression.

COMING SOON: VIRTUAL TRAINING
Take me to your gym or train from home! This type of training allows a client the ability to train with me from anywhere. Using the DexterFit Virtual wrkout Studio, you can workout from virtually anywhere and I can train you from my desk!

Access to high speed internet, a laptop, tablet, or smart-TV is required. Personal wrkout Studio is web based downloading an application is not required.

Partnered Personal Training
Want to train with a spouse, family member, partner, good friend? Discounted per person live rates are as follows:
Single Ten Session
$30 per hour $275
$25 – 45 minutes $225
$20 – 30 minutes Not available.
Discounted rates only apply when partners train together on the same day at the same time.

Team Training
Best for team building or a fun group session for any occasion!

Team training is personal training for a group of up to 10 people. Traditionally this model has included circuit or a boot camp style of training where the instructor (trainer) does not complete the movement with you, but watches to ensure that everyone is completing the movement correctly. Team training also accounts for the differences in the individual members; each person completes the assigned workout at their own pace as best as their current fitness level allows.

An alternative form of Team Training is when the teams pays for an exclusive group fitness class from any of the available fitness modalities offered by UPLFT Fitness (i.e. POUND, Step, Drums Alive, Barre, etc. These workouts are typically cardio based, though some resistance training may be included.

60 minute class - $16 per person
45 minute class - $13 per person
30 minute class - $10 per person

Fees are paid in advance. Refunds for individual participants available up to 24 hours before the class. A group cancelation refund is available up to 24 hours before the class - however a $25 cancellation fee will be charged.
